Custom orthotics are made in various shapes and sizes, with different materials and prescriptions. At The Podiatry Clinic we use a variety of cutting-edge technology alongside an ON-SITE Custom Orthotic Lab, meaning the design and make of your custom orthotic is overseen from start to finish from your podiatrist and our technician. Unlike 90% of podiatry clinics in Australia, we do not depend nor are controlled by external orthotic labs.

The Podiatry Clinic works extremely close with one of Europe’s leading foot technology organisations, where we incorporate the Novel emed technology taking a dynamic plantar pressure during your gait, coupled with both a 2D and 3D scan. This information, alongside our findings and prescriptions are sent to Germany (pedcad foot technology) for analysis. Once finalised, we then manufacture and design your custom orthotic. This process normally takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks.
