No. A referral is not required when making an appointment with one of our podiatrists. However, if you do have or receive any paperwork from any medical practitioners, please do bring it along to your appointment.
This all depends on your level of cover with your Private Health Fund. Whether your cover includes podiatry will depends on your level of cover that you have with your fund. If you are unsure, we advise you call your Private Health Fund prior to your appointment to understand and breakdown your level of coverage (including extras such as custom orthotics).
Here at The Podiatry Clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality service to all our patients. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our appointments, we are unable to offer bulk billing services withing the clinic under the Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly known as an Enhance Primary Care Plan – EPC). A Medicare rebate will be re-imbursed by one of our friendly administration staff under an active plan. You are then required to pay the remaining gap.
Depending on your reason for visiting us, your appointment timeframe will last between 30 minutes to 1 hour. A detailed history as well as diagnostic assessments will be undertaken to help formulate a tailored treatment plan.

Yes, we accept Work Cover claims. Our clinic is experienced in handling Work Cover cases and will assist you throughout the process to ensure you receive the appropriate care and support for your work-related injury. Please bring all necessary documentation to your appointment, and our team will guide you through the claim submission and treatment process.

Yes, all our instruments are thoroughly sterilised to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety. We adhere to strict sterilisation protocols and use advanced sterilisation equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment for our patients. Your health and safety are our top priorities.

Yes, we offer home visits for patients who are unable to come to our clinic. Our podiatrists provide the same high-quality care in the comfort of your home, ensuring that you receive the necessary treatment and attention without the need to travel. Please contact us to schedule a home visit and discuss your specific needs.
